For Administrators and other Professionals we have many common elements to share: policies, procedures, programming, staff training, and the latest news in our field. We share these elements through networking (both on-line and in-vivo), and professional development (both for teachers and administrators).
For parents, we provide information about independent schools that are better equipped to serve students with special needs because they can offer instructional techniques not employed in the public/separate schools (e.g. Direct Instruction, Applied Behavioural Analysis), and their access to therapists and specialists isn’t impeded by the waiting lists that exist in the publicly-funded system.
